Shatta Wale, a dancehall musician, has questioned claims made by actress Yvonne Nelson, including that rapper Michael Owusu Addo, better known as Sarkodie, impregnated her and forced her to abort the pregnancy.
The actress claimed the encounter occurred in 2010, making the allegations in her book “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson.”
She said that because Sarkodie was living with his mother at the time and was ill-equipped to perform paternal responsibilities, he refused to accept responsibility for the pregnancy.

He was still living with his mother and wasn’t ready to take on additional responsibilities while still dependent on her, she wrote in her autobiography, which was published on Sunday, June 18, 2023.
