According to Phillis Naa Koryoo Okunor, the cost of diapers has increased significantly in line with the cost of every other good, while income levels have remained stagnant or even decreased in certain circumstances. As a result, nursing moms are unable to afford to buy diapers.

On Tuesday, October 3, she spoke in a protest called by the minority members of parliament to seek the resignation of Dr. Ernest Addison, governor of the Bank of Ghana, and his appointees.

Naa Koryoo Okunor continued by bemoaning the fact that many families are now struggling to feed their kids because of the current government’s poor economic management. She claimed that youngsters are currently only given gari and salt for food, which causes them to become undernourished.
