A group of viral security guards who later became content artists known as the Happie Boys have reportedly been arrested in Cyprus, where OPM preacher Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere funded their education.
The internet sensations allegedly made an appearance in court on Tuesday, October 10, for an arraignment before being taken into custody.
It’s unknown why they were detained at the time this piece is being written. There have been rumors that they may be housed at an underground facility by the government of Cyprus.
A few weeks ago, they pleaded with OPM founder Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere for pardon on social media.
In a video uploaded online by the young men who rose to fame after losing their jobs for dancing at work, they begged the cleric to have mercy on them because things were not going well for them in Cyprus.
