Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako nicknamed Chairman Wontumi, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has pledged GHC5,000 to anyone who knows where Afia Schwarzenegger is hiding.
Chairman Wontumi is appealing to the people to assist security forces in apprehending Afia Schwarzenegger, who has been proclaimed sought by a Tema high court.
A Tema high court has declared Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, better known as Afia Schwarzeneggar, wanted.
This comes after the court issued a bench warrant for her arrest for contempt of court; she is now missing in the country.
Maurice Kwabena Ampaw ESQ., counsel for and on behalf of Chairman Wontumi, stated in an affidavit of support to the High Court on the 13th of July 2022 that the Saturday, 9th July 2022, edition of the United Showbiz, was a clear agenda and attempt to give the 4th respondent (Afia Schwar), the needed platform to strengthen her case before the court and to seriously prejudice the matter before this Honourable Court.
Maurice Ampaw, the lawyer for Chairman Wontumi, has declared Afia Schwarzenegger “Ghana’s most wanted” following the court’s issuance of a bench warrant for her arrest.
In an interview with Movement TV, the private legal practitioner stated that “his team has handed over the warrant to all security patrol teams in the country to ensure Afia Schwarzenegger is arrested as soon as she is spotted along the borders of Ghana.”
He also warned the public against harboring Afia Schwarzenegger, stating that anyone caught in the act would face the full force of the law.
